I took proper coaching for one year in Class 12th and studied earnestly and diligently.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-luminous-vivid-amber-background-color has-background\"><strong>Upcoming CLAT Exams:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lawpreptutorial.com\/blog\/clat\/2026-details\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>CLAT 2026<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lawpreptutorial.com\/blog\/clat\/2027-details\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CLAT 2027<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>LPT: <\/strong>When you started preparing, what was your approach for the subjects?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Archita:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>For General Knowledge<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>I gave some mocks at the start and realized that my score was pretty low. Then, I focused a lot on reading.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I started reading newspapers regularly. For current affairs, I referred to Pratiyogita Darpan and watched the &#8216;Newspaper Series&#8217; of Shalu Sir very regularly. I also used to revise and watch Shalu Sir&#8217;s videos again and again. Performing these activities regularly helped me a lot, and my General Knowledge improved subsequently.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I also prepared hand-written notes and referred to law prep materials for GK. Both of them worked wonderfully. Also, I did not study much of static Gk because static <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lawpreptutorial.com\/blog\/clat\/preparation\/gk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">GK in CLAT<\/a><\/strong> also comes from current affairs. So I focused more on <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lawpreptutorial.com\/free-resourses\/clat\/current-affairs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Current Affairs<\/a><\/strong>. However, CLAT surprised us by asking static GK this time.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/live.lawpreptutorial.com\/clat-f2f-counselling\/?utm_source=SEO&amp;utm_medium=Blog&amp;utm_campaign=Post-Banner\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"234\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lawpreptutorial.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/CLAT-counselling-21.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-27756\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>For Comprehensive English<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>I used to attend the Sonia Ma&#8217;am classes, which helped me complete my Grammar in the starting months. I practiced reading Hindu Editorials by putting a self-timer for 2 hours. My reading was good, but it improved more by reading editorials on self-timer.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>For Legal Reasoning<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>I completed the modules in the starting by taking the classes regularly. Then, I concentrated more on reading because CLAT is now a comprehensive paper, and only reading more can save you. Towards the end, I focused more on revising the basic laws and modules.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>For Quantitative Techniques<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>At the start, the classes helped me a lot to complete the course and understand the basics. I also practiced a lot of questions from all the topics in the syllabus. When I secured low marks in mocks, I used to give more time to analysis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>LPT: <\/strong>While preparing, when did you get to know that you&#8217;ll be able to crack NLU Bangalore?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Archita: <\/strong>From April, I started securing 110+ marks in my mocks. But after practice, it made me comfortable.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lawpreptutorial.com\/blog\/clat\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CLAT exam<\/a><\/strong>, while appearing for GK, the first passage was really bad for me. I only knew three questions. But, I did not panic; I thought, let&#8217;s move on to other questions, which really helped.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>LPT: <\/strong>Tell us your experience with Law Prep Tutorial?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Archita: <\/strong>Everything was excellent. I referred to Law Prep modules for all the subjects. I appeared for all the mock tests that Law Prep provided, and it helped immensely.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>LPT: <\/strong>Did you find questions of a similar pattern in the CLAT from LPT mocks?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Archita: <\/strong>Yes, the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lawpreptutorial.com\/blog\/clat\/logical-reasoning\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CLAT Logical Reasoning section<\/a><\/strong> was all CR, and I had practiced CR from the LPT mocks. My reading ability and LPT mocks helped me a lot to crack the exam.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>LPT: <\/strong>How to cope when the results in mock don&#8217;t go as per the expectations?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Archita: <\/strong>In the start, when the mocks were difficult, I used to score a little lower than expected. But, you need to keep in mind that it is just a mock, and you are supposed to learn from it. If the mock is difficult, it is difficult for everyone. So, focus more on practicing, learning, and then taking more mock tests. You&#8217;ll do well in a couple of weeks if you&#8217;re consistent, don&#8217;t worry.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>LPT: <\/strong>What would you suggest to students who are preparing for CLAT 2022?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Archita: <\/strong>Stay updated with the GK, read newspapers; reading is really important. Read with a timer on. Try to complete the editorial in 3-4 minutes. And remember, only practice is the key to success.
