Law Prep:<\/strong> When did you start your CLAT preparation?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Pradyod<\/strong>: I started in Class 11, which gave me two full years to prepare thoroughly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pradyod<\/strong>: My focus was to master the basics first. Once mocks began, I\u2019d attempt one or two per week and analyze them deeply. Mock analysis is the most underrated part of CLAT prep \u2014 it helps you identify patterns and recurring mistakes that mere repetition won\u2019t fix.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Law Prep:<\/strong> How did you analyze your mocks effectively?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Pradyod<\/strong>: I\u2019d sit with a friend (now also at NLSIU), and we\u2019d discuss every mock in detail. If he got something right and I didn\u2019t, we\u2019d exchange reasoning and logic. That peer-to-peer learning was invaluable and kept us both accountable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Law Prep:<\/strong> So group study worked better than solo prep for you?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Pradyod<\/strong>: Definitely. Group study helped me stay consistent and motivated. CLAT preparation<\/strong><\/a> can be mentally draining \u2014 having people who share your goals gives you both emotional and academic support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pradyod<\/strong>: I took science as a safe option, but realized I didn\u2019t want to pursue JEE or NEET. A friend introduced me to CLAT, and as I began classes and mocks, I found myself genuinely interested. After CLAT, I even did a short litigation internship, which confirmed that law was right for me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pradyod<\/strong>: Don\u2019t treat mock scores as a measure of your worth. I had high and low phases \u2014 but comparing yourself constantly kills motivation. Mocks are for learning, not judgment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Law Prep:<\/strong> How do you balance focusing on mocks while not obsessing over scores?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Pradyod<\/strong>: Focus on why you went wrong, not how much you scored. Every mock is feedback. Analyze errors, but don\u2019t carry emotional baggage from the marks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Law Prep:<\/strong> Which section was toughest for you?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Pradyod<\/strong>: Logical Reasoning. It\u2019s easy to think you\u2019re right until you realize you misread the logic. Strengthening basics and identifying reasoning patterns helped me overcome it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pradyod<\/strong>: I wouldn\u2019t recommend it. GMAT is designed for a different audience. The best practice for CLAT is to solve and review as many mocks as possible. That\u2019s what sharpens your reasoning instincts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
