Yashvi Rajpurohit is from Jodhpur and comes from a family rooted in medicine. Even though she felt drawn toward law from the beginning of Class 11, circumstances led her to continue with NEET preparation for nearly two years. Law Prep:<\/strong> You prepared for NEET for 1.5 years. Tell us about that journey before switching to law.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Yashvi<\/strong>: I always wanted to pursue law, even at the start of Class 11, but due to circumstances, I continued with NEET. I understood the AILET syllabus<\/a><\/strong>, but my interest wasn\u2019t there. Eventually, I couldn\u2019t convince myself. Switching to law changed everything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Law Prep:<\/strong> How did your parents react when you decided to leave NEET?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Yashvi<\/strong>: Initially, they hesitated. My father is a doctor, so naturally, he wanted the same for me. But once I explained how unhappy and disconnected I felt, they supported me completely. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

My father said, \u201cDo what makes you happy.\u201d<\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

That meant a lot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Law Prep:<\/strong> How different was NEET compared to CLAT\/AILET?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Yashvi<\/strong>: Very different.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NEET is theory-heavy and mostly memorisation-based.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CLAT\/AILET require awareness, reading, vocabulary, and critical thinking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reading newspapers and watching classes by Swatantrata Sir helped me adjust quickly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Law Prep: <\/strong>Which section was the toughest for you?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Yashvi<\/strong>: Critical Reasoning. Coming from NEET, I wasn\u2019t used to long passages. Identifying assumptions, arguments, and inferences was challenging. Consistent practice and Megha Ma\u2019am\u2019s guidance helped me improve tremendously.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Law Prep:<\/strong> You scored below 5000 in CLAT. How did that affect you before AILET?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Yashvi<\/strong>: It was a shock. My confidence dropped. But AILET<\/a><\/strong> felt manageable. I had zero expectations. When I casually opened the result and saw AIR 8, I screamed and ran downstairs. My mom thought I saw a rat. Her reaction was unforgettable!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
