The MP Judiciary exam pattern is divided into three stages: Preliminary Exam, Main Written Exam, and Interview. The MPCJ prelims exam will be conducted online, featuring 150 MCQs for 150 marks. The exam duration will be 2 hours.

Stages in the MP Judiciary Exam Paper Pattern
Candidates found successful in one phase will be shortlisted for the next selection stage. Here are the different stages involved in the MP Judiciary 2026 exam:
- Preliminary Exam: It will be organised in online mode as a screening test. It will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions to be completed within 2 hours. The scores achieved in the prelims exam will not be considered for the final selection.
- Mains Exam: The mains written exam covers 4 papers, each carrying 100 marks. The time limit for each paper will be 3 hours.
- Interview: The interview round will carry 50 marks. You should secure at least 40% marks in the interview to be eligible for final selection.
MP Judiciary Prelims Exam Pattern 2026
The first stage will be an online preliminary exam serving as a screening test. It will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions. Each question will have 4 possible answer options. You must choose one appropriate option for each question.

MP Judiciary Mains Exam Pattern 2026
The MPCJ Mains Exam will consist of 4 papers, each carrying 100 marks. The duration of the exam will be 3 hours for each paper.
