Overall CLAT 2024 Question Paper Analysis
The Consortium of NLUs conducted CLAT UG 2024 on 3rd December 2023, from 2-4 p.m. The CLAT 2024 was conducted in 139 exam centres. The Consortium of NLU released the provisional answer key on December 4, and students were required to submit their objections by 7:00 pm on December 5.
The first impression of the CLAT 2024 question paper is that it was relatively easy compared to previous years’ question papers, and was approachable.

To get into any of the top 5 NLUs, you need to achieve the following score:
Overall Section-Wise CLAT 2024 Question Paper Analysis:
- In the English Language, four (4) passages were asked. Except for one passage, three passages were based on fiction. The questions were easy, except for a few tricky ones.
- In the Current Affairs and General Knowledge section, some questions were asked directly from the passage.
- Although the questions were simple in the Legal Section, the passages were lengthy. The questions in this section included both one-liner questions and hypothetical questions.
- In the Logical Reasoning section, among the four (4) passages, two (2) were lengthy, and the other two (2) were short passages.
- The Quantitative Technique Section was the most accessible section among all the sections. Students would have taken 7-8 minutes to solve the questions.

CLAT 2024 Question Paper Analysis – Section Wise
The Consortium of NLU conducts the CLAT UG examination once every year in offline mode. The CLAT UG question paper consists of a total of 120 questions, divided into five (5) sections –
(i) Reading Comprehension
(ii) Current Affairs and General Knowledge
(iii) Legal Reasoning
(iv) Logical Reasoning
(v) Quantitative Technique
The CLAT exam is conducted for two (2) hours. The questions asked are based on multiple-choice questions (MCQs), and the mode of language is English. Each question carries one (1) mark. One (1) mark is given for every correct answer, and 0.25 marks are deducted for every incorrect answer.
(i) Reading Comprehension

(ii) Current Affairs and General Knowledge
After the 2024 question paper analysis, the current affairs and general knowledge sections of the CLAT 2024 question paper were the easiest from the previous years.
- Two passages were from static G.K., and three passages were from current G.K.
- A total of 28 questions were asked in this section of CLAT 2024 question paper.
