How to Choose an SLAT 2027 Exam Centre?

Candidates can select up to three preferred cities while registering for SLAT 2027. The order of preference matters for planning, but the final allotment depends on availability and the university's allocation process.

Follow these steps before submitting your choices:

• Check the complete city list: Identify the test cities available in your state and neighbouring regions.
• Compare travel options: Consider train, bus and flight availability, along with the time required to reach the city.
• Choose three preferred cities: Start with the most convenient city, then choose two other cities you can reach without difficulty.
• Review the exam dates: Decide whether you want to appear on one or both available dates before paying the registration fee.
• Submit your preferences early: Test dates and cities are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability.
• Verify the details before payment: Check your selected dates and city preferences carefully because changes are not permitted after payment.

How to Check Your SLAT Exam Centre List State Wise?

Candidates can check the test city list through the official SLAT website. The admit card will provide the exact examination venue and address.

Follow these steps to view the SLAT 2027 test centres in India:

• Visit the official SLAT website.
• Open the Test Cities section on the homepage.
• Check the available test cities and identify suitable options.
• Download or print the list for reference while completing the application.

After the university releases the admit card, check the allotted centre, its full address, reporting instructions and examination timing. Do not assume that the final venue will be located in the exact locality you had in mind when selecting a city.

Plan your journey using the address printed on the admit card. If the centre is unfamiliar, check the route and estimated travel time before the examination day.

Can You Change Your SLAT Exam Centre After Submitting the Application?

Once you pay the SLAT test registration fee, you cannot change/modify your chosen exam city or test date. Therefore, review all preferences before paying.

SIU makes efforts to allot a city according to the candidate's choices, but the preferred option may not be available because of capacity limits or other circumstances. In such cases, the university reserves the right to allot another city, including one in a nearby area.

Candidates should keep certain rules in mind:

• Test city and date allocation depends on availability.
• Early payment may improve the chances of obtaining a preferred option, but it does not guarantee allotment.
• SIU may add, remove or revise test cities when necessary.
• The final centre location, address and exam timing will be notified on the SLAT admit card.
• Candidates should not make travel bookings based only on their preferred city. They should confirm the allotted venue first.
