What Is SLAT Exam?

The SLAT full form is Symbiosis Law Admission Test.  It is a national-level entrance exam conducted by Symbiosis International (Deemed University). Symbiosis Law Entrance Test is conducted for admission to five-year law programmes at SLS (Symbiosis Law Schools). 

Candidates who qualify SLAT 2027 can apply for B.A. LL.B. (Hons.), B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.), B.A. LL.B., B.B.A. LL.B., and B.Com. LL.B. (Hons.) at SLS Pune, Noida, Hyderabad, and Nagpur. The final admission process is completed separately by each Symbiosis Law School. 

SLAT 2027 Exam Date

The SLAT 2027 exam is expected to be conducted in December 2026 with 2 test sessions. Results are likely to be announced in January 2027. Personal interviews may be held from January to February 2027.

SLAT 2027 Notification: Eligibility Criteria

Based on previous years’ trends, candidates applying for SLAT 2027 are expected to have passed Class 12 (10+2) from a recognised board.

SLAT Registration 2027

Candidates are expected to complete the SLAT registration process online through the official website https://www.slat-test.org/. The process includes registration, application form submission, OTP verification, document upload, and fee payment. Upload a recent passport-size colour photograph, not older than 6 months. No changes will be allowed after final submission.

Visit the Registration Portal	Click Register on the SLAT website https://www.slat-test.org/register.php to begin the application process.
Accept Terms and Conditions	Read the instructions carefully. Accept the terms before clicking Continue.
Fill Registration Details	Enter all the required details in the online registration form.
Verify Email and Mobile Number	Click Save & Continue. Enter the OTP sent to your registered email ID and mobile number.
Complete Registration	Submit the OTP to finish the registration process.
Receive Login Credentials	Your SLAT ID and password will be sent via email and SMS. Use them for future login and communication.
Pay the SLAT Test Fee	Pay the SLAT fee of ₹2,250 per test. The fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
Pay the Programme Registration Fee	Pay ₹1,000 for each selected programme. Applicable taxes are charged separately. This fee is also non-refundable and non-transferable.
Use Valid Contact Details	Maintain the same valid email ID and mobile number throughout the admission process.
Provide Correct Information	Fill in all details exactly as required. Incorrect information may result in cancellation of candidature.
Appear for the Test	Candidates can appear on both SLAT test dates. The higher score will be considered for the final percentile.
Admission Process	Each Symbiosis institute conducts its own admission process after shortlisting.

SLAT Registration Fees

Candidates can pay the SLAT registration fees using net banking, credit/debit card, BillDesk, Easebuzz, or Demand Draft.
