3-Year LLB Entrance Exams 2027

Several universities accept different entrance test scores for their three-year LL.B. programmes.

NLSAT-LLB 2027

NLSIU organises the National Law School Admissions Test (NLSAT-LLB) for admission to its three-year LL.B. (Hons.) programme. The test has two parts in a single question paper. Both Parts A and B are compulsory, and the examination is allotted 150 minutes.

Part A: Part A of the NLSAT-LLB will contain 75 multiple-choice questions, with each question carrying 1 mark. A penalty of 0.25 marks will apply for every incorrect answer and for questions left unanswered.

Part A will serve as the first stage of the admission process. Candidates will be ranked as per their Part A scores. Only candidates who score more than zero marks in Part A will be considered for the next stage.

Part B: Part B of the NLSAT-LLB will comprise subjective-type questions and will carry a maximum of 75 marks.

MAH-LL.B. 3-Year CET 2027

The State Common Entrance Test Cell organises the MAH-LL.B. 3-Year CET for admission to the three-year LL.B. course.

The exam contains multiple-choice questions with four options. There is no negative marking, and candidates get 2 hours to complete the paper.

CUET PG Law 2027 Entrance Exam

CUET PG is conducted in computer-based mode. The exam has 75 questions, awards 4 marks for each correct response, and deducts 1 mark for each incorrect response. Questions that are unanswered or marked for review receive no marks. The institutions accepting CUET PG scores are Banaras Hindu University and the University of Delhi.

Symbiosis AIAT 2027 

Admission to the three-year LL.B. programme at Symbiosis Law School, Pune is through the Symbiosis All India Admission Test (AIAT).

The AIAT includes three components:

  • Writing Sample: Two subjective questions carrying 20 marks each, with 65 minutes, concerning social, political and legal issues.
  • Objective Questions: 10 questions carrying 20 marks on general knowledge, legal reasoning and reading comprehension.
  • Psychometric Test: A 20-minute online test carrying 10 marks.

The shortlisted candidates will be called to appear in the Online Personal Interaction (PI) round. PI carries 30 marks. Personal Interaction is designed to evaluate the candidate's personal attributes, work experience, global outlook, professionalism, ethics, values, and statement of purpose.

PU LL.B. (3 Years) Entrance Test 2027

The PU LL.B. entrance test is conducted for admission to:

  • Department of Laws, Panjab University, Chandigarh
  • Panjab University Regional Centre, Muktsar
  • UIL, Panjab University Regional Centre, Ludhiana
  • University Institute of Legal Studies, Swami Sarvanand Giri, PU Regional Centre, Bajwara, Hoshiarpur

The entrance test carries 100 marks and has objective-type questions. It lasts 1 hour and 30 minutes and has negative marking, with 0.25 marks deducted for every incorrect answer.

3-Year LLB Eligibility Criteria 2027

The minimum academic qualification is a bachelor's degree. But the required marks and category conditions differ across institutions.

NLSIU 3-Year LL.B. Eligibility

National Law School of India University, Bengaluru introduced its interdisciplinary 3-Year LL.B. (Hons.) programme in 2022. The postgraduate professional programme is open to graduates from different academic backgrounds and fulfils the requirements of the Bar Council of India.

  • Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognised Indian or international university.
  • General category applicants need at least 45% aggregate marks.
  • Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PWD categories need at least 40% aggregate marks.
  • Students in the final year of their degree can also apply. For such candidates, the final admission offer will depend on completing the bachelor's degree with the prescribed minimum marks.

Admission to the 3-year LL.B. programme is through the National Law School Admissions Test (NLSAT-LLB). The test has one question paper divided into Parts A and B, and candidates have to attempt both parts within 150 minutes.

MAH-LL.B. 3-Year CET Eligibility

For MAH-LL.B. 3-Year CET, candidates must be Indian nationals and graduates of a recognised university or equivalent institution.

The minimum aggregate requirement is:

  • 45% for OPEN, All India Candidature (OMS), SEBC and EWS candidates.
  • 40% for SC and ST candidates belonging to Maharashtra.
  • 42% for VJNT, SBC and OBC candidates belonging to Maharashtra.

There is no upper age limit for appearing in the MAH-LL.B. 3-Year CET.

CUET PG 2027 Eligibility

Students who have completed their graduation or equivalent qualification can appear for CUET PG. Students in the final year of graduation are also eligible to appear.

Symbiosis 3-Year LL.B. Eligibility
