When two or more candidates score the same total marks, NLU Delhi uses a defined sequence of steps to assign ranks:
1. Higher Marks in Logical Reasoning
The candidate with higher Logical Reasoning marks gets the better rank since LR is the most crucial section in AILET Exam.
2. Age Preference
If the Logical Reasoning marks are also equal, the older candidate is given priority in ranking.
3. Draw of Lots
If both total marks and LR marks are the same, and candidates are of the same age, then the final rank is decided through a random draw of lots.
