Who is Eligible for AIBE 22 Registration?

If you fulfil the following eligibility criteria, only then will you be able to do AIBE 22 online registration:

Qualifying Examination	If you have completed or are currently in the final year of a 3-year LLB or 5-year integrated LLB programme, you can appear for AIBE 22. The accepted law degrees are: 1. 3-year LLB degree 2. 5-year integrated LLB degree
Minimum Marks	The Bar Council of India (BCI) has not prescribed a minimum percentage requirement for appearing in AIBE. However, you must meet the academic requirements, including minimum marks or grades, set by your respective university for your law degree.
Age Limit	No age limit has been prescribed for AIBE.  You can appear for the examination irrespective of your age, provided you meet the other eligibility requirements.
State Bar Council Registration/Enrolment	Those who have not enrolled as advocates with a State Bar Council can also apply for AIBE. State Bar Council enrolment is not mandatory for AIBE eligibility.

Documents Required for AIBE Registration 2026

You are required to upload certain documents while filling out the AIBE 22 application form. The document list is given below:

How to Register for AIBE Exam 2026?

The AIBE 22 (XXII) registration process is conducted online through the official AIBE website. The step-by-step process is given below.

Step 1: Visit the AIBE Official Website

Go to the official AIBE website and open the registration section. Use the official portal for the AIBE 22 application and avoid registering through third-party websites.

Step 2: Start AIBE 22 Registration

Click on the Registration or Apply Online option for AIBE XXII. You will be asked to enter basic information to create your registration account.

Enter details such as:

• Candidate’s name
• Mobile number
• Email ID
• Enrollment state, where applicable
• Enrollment number, where applicable
• Password

Use an active mobile number and email ID because these details are used for communication during the application process. Also keep your login credentials safe.

Step 3: Log in to the AIBE Candidate Account

After completing the initial registration, use the login credentials generated during registration to access the AIBE 22 application form.

Check that the candidate details displayed on the screen are correct before proceeding with the remaining sections.

Step 4: Enter Personal Details

Fill in the personal information requested in the application form. Enter your details exactly as they appear in your official documents.

The form may require information such as:

• Candidate’s name
• Father’s or husband’s name
• Date of birth
• Gender
• Category
• PwD status, if applicable

Ensure your law college or university meets the BCI recognition requirements. Final-year students without backlogs and certain law graduates without an enrolment certificate can also apply under the BCI’s undertaking-based provisions.

Step 6: Select Category and Candidate Type

Select the applicable category and candidate status in the application form. Provide your category information accurately and upload supporting documents where required.

If applying under a special category, such as PwD, provide the relevant information and certificate as prescribed.

Step 7: Select AIBE Exam Centres

Select your preferred examination centres from the options available in the application form. The AIBE application process allows you to provide preferences for exam cities.

Choose the centre carefully because the selected preference may not be editable after payment, depending on the correction rules notified by BCI.

Step 8: Select the Question Paper Language

Choose one language for the AIBE question paper from the languages available in the application form. You should select the language you are most comfortable reading during the examination.

Step 9: Upload the Required Documents

Upload the required documents in the prescribed format and file size. These may include:

Step 11: Submit the Declaration and Application Form

After checking the information, select the required declaration and submit the application form.

You should not submit multiple registrations. The BCI instructions state that each candidate should make only one registration.

Step 12: Pay the AIBE 22 Application Fee

After completing the application details, pay the prescribed AIBE 22 application fee through the authorised online payment gateway.

Save the payment confirmation and transaction details after a successful payment.

Step 13: Download and Save the Confirmation

After successful submission and fee payment, download or print a copy of the completed AIBE 22 application form and payment receipt.

AIBE Registration 2026: Important Points to Note

The Bar Council of India (BCI) will release the official guidelines for AIBE 22 registration on its website. Read all instructions carefully before submitting the application form. The key points are:

• Complete AIBE registration through the online application process.
• You should have a working mobile number and a valid email ID to register for AIBE 22.
• Keep your registered mobile number and email ID active throughout the application process, as you cannot change these details later. BCI will use them to send important updates.
• Each candidate can submit only one AIBE registration form.
• Enter correct and complete information in the AIBE 22 application form. Providing incorrect or misleading details may result in disqualification.
• You with 80% disability will receive an additional 20 minutes to complete the examination.

Special Instructions for Final-Year Law Students and Those Without an Enrolment Certificate

• The registration link for AIBE 22 will be common for all eligible candidates.
• Law graduates who have not yet enrolled with any State Bar Council must upload a scanned copy of the required undertaking. You can download the undertaking from the official AIBE website.
• If you are already enrolled with a State Bar Council, you must upload a self-attested copy of your enrolment certificate. You are not required to submit the undertaking.
• Final-year law students without any backlogs must upload self-attested scanned copies of their marksheets from the first semester through the fifth semester for a 3-year LLB course and through the ninth semester for a 5-year LLB course. You must also submit the required undertaking.
• Those who have completed their law degree but have not yet received the degree certificate must upload self-attested copies of their marksheets for all semesters along with the required undertaking.

How to Retrieve AIBE Registration 22 (XXII) ID & Password?

If you forgot your AIBE 22 login ID or password, you can easily retrieve it from the website’s login page. Here are the steps to complete the process:

• Visit the official AIBE website
• Next, click on the Login button in the top right corner
• Click on the Forgot Password option on the next page
• After this, enter your Login ID as registered on the portal and fill in the captcha code
• Click on Generate OTP to receive an OTP on your registered email or mobile number.
• Validate the OTP and reset your password as per the guidelines.

AIBE XII Application Correction Window

The AIBE 22 correction facility will open after registration closes. Also, not every field of the application is open for edits, as per the guidelines prescribed by the authorities. The correction facility will be available till October 30, 2026. You will be allowed to make changes to only the following fields:

• Name,
• Enrolment Number,
• Date of Birth,
• Test centre preferences
