NLSAT 2023 Question Paper: Analysis
The NLSAT 2023 was a reading-heavy paper built around eight passages and 75 questions. The questions did not test comprehension alone. Candidates had to draw inferences, evaluate arguments, apply logical reasoning and answer factual questions based on knowledge outside the passage.

How to Use NLSAT 2023 Question Paper for Your Preparation?
1. Record Time for Every Passage
Time all eight passages individually rather than only recording your final completion time. This helps you identify whether literature, science, legal-social or factual passages slow you down the most.
2. Separate Reasoning Errors From Knowledge Gaps
Do not put every incorrect answer into one error list. Mark whether you lost the question because of a wrong inference, poor argument analysis, factual ignorance or rushed option selection.
3. Practise Mixed-Theme Reading
The 2023 paper shows that NLSIU can move from evolution to Coffee House culture and then to Soviet science or caste. Practise mixed passage sets so topic switching becomes normal.
4. Apply the Unattempted-Question Penalty During Practice
Deduct 0.25 for every unanswered question when calculating your score. If unanswered questions are costing you heavily, your reading speed or question-selection process needs work.
