CLAT PG 2027 Exam Notification: Eligibility Criteria

CLAT PG Age Limit	There is no upper age limit for candidates applying for the CLAT PG 2027 exam.
Educational Qualification	Candidates must have completed a 3-year LL.B. or 5-year Integrated LL.B. degree from a recognised university. General/OBC candidates must secure at least 50% marks, while SC/ST/PwD candidates require a minimum of 45% marks. Candidates appearing in the final year of their LL.B. are also eligible to apply, provided they produce proof of passing at the time of admission.
Nationality	Indian Nationals and NRIs are eligible to appear for CLAT PG. Foreign Nationals are not eligible to take the examination. Candidates seeking admission under the NRI/NRI Sponsored category must follow the admission guidelines of the respective participating NLU.

CLAT PG Notification 2027: Exam Pattern

According to the CLAT PG exam notification, the exam will be held in the pen and paper mode. The questions will be in the English language only and it will be multiple-choice (MCQ).

The CLAT PG 2027 application process will be conducted online. Candidates seeking admission to LL.M. programmes offered by participating National Law Universities (NLUs) must complete the application form with accurate details and pay the prescribed application fee before the deadline.

Step 1: Visit the Official Website

Visit the official Consortium of NLUs website and open the CLAT 2027 application portal.

Step 2: Access the CLAT PG Registration Link

On the homepage, click on “CLAT 2027” and select the registration link. Choose the Postgraduate (PG) programme to begin the application process.

Step 3: Complete Registration

Register using a valid mobile number and email ID. An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number for verification. Complete the verification process to activate your account.

Step 4: Fill in the CLAT PG Application Form

Log in using your registered mobile number and password. Enter your personal information, educational qualifications, LLB degree details, category, and other required information. Review every detail carefully before moving to the next step.

Step 5: Upload the Required Documents

Upload the necessary documents in the prescribed format. Ensure all certificates are issued by the competent authority and are clear and legible.

The required documents include:

• Recent passport-size colour photograph with a plain background
• Candidate’s signature
• SC/ST/OBC certificate (if applicable)
• PwD certificate issued by the competent authority (if applicable)
• BPL certificate issued by the competent authority (if applicable)

Step 6: Pay the CLAT PG Application Fee

Complete the payment through the available online payment modes. The application fee will depend on the category specified in the official CLAT PG 2027 notification. Save the payment receipt for future reference.

Step 7: Verify and Submit the Form

Review all the information entered in the application form, including personal details, academic qualifications, uploaded documents, and category. Once satisfied, click on “Final Submit” to complete the application process.

Step 8: Download the Confirmation Page

CLAT PG 2027 Official Notification: Application Fee

Presently, the CLAT PG 2027 exam notification is not yet available. However, based on past trends, the candidates may expect no change in the application fee.
