TS LAWCET Exam Pattern Section-Wise Distribution

The TS LAWCET exam is conducted to test candidates’ ability and aptitude to pursue a law course. The entrance exam pattern is divided into three parts, i.e. Part A, B, and C. It comprises a total of 120 questions. The Questions will be objective-type multiple-choice questions. Each question contains four alternative answers. Part A

Part A is focused on General Knowledge and Mental Ability, which evaluates candidates’ logical reasoning and GK. It covers areas like geography, history, economics, polity, etc. It consists of 30 questions carrying 30 marks.

Part B

Part B is a Current Affairs section that assesses candidates’ understanding of the latest happenings across the state and the world. It consists of 30 questions carrying 30 marks.

Part C

Part C is about Aptitude for the Study of Law. This section evaluates the candidate’s elementary knowledge of the basic principles of the Law and Constitution of India. It consists of 60 questions carrying 60 marks. Out of the total questions, 10 Questions will be based on or related to the comprehension of legal passages given.

The TS LAWCET total marks are 120. Candidates should understand the mark distribution across the sections to avoid last-minute surprises in the exam. TS LAWCET Exam Pattern: Minimum Qualifying Marks

Aspirants should obtain certain qualifying marks to be declared successful in the TS LAWCET exam. The qualifying percentage of marks in the entrance exam will be 35% (i.e. 42 marks out of a total of 120 marks).
