The application process includes multiple stages, such as registration, login, document upload, and fee payment. Here are the detailed steps to apply online without hassles:

  • Visit the SBI career website, i.e. https://sbi.bank.in/web/careers/current-openings.
  • Search for the advertisement link for the post and click the “Apply Online” link.
  • Then, select the “Click here for New Registration” link.
  • Register using details like name, email ID, mobile number, etc.
  • In the next step, they should first scan their latest photograph and signature to proceed.
  • Next, fill out the entire application form and upload all the required documents. 
  • After the information/application is saved, a provisional registration number and password will be displayed on the screen.
  • Click the “Submit” button after filling out the application form completely. 
  • Next, pay the application fees using Internet Banking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card etc.

The selection process is divided into two stages, i.e. Written Test and Interview. The final Merit list will be prepared based on normalisation of marks scored in the Online Written Test and Interview, with 70:30 weightage respectively. Check the detailed selection process below:

  • Online Written Exam: It will consist of an Objective Type Test & a Descriptive Type Test. The maximum marks shall be 100, with each test carrying 50 marks. There will be no negative marks for wrong answers in the online exam.
  • Interview: Candidates declared successful in the online written exam will be shortlisted for the online written test. The interview will carry 100 marks. 

The starting basic pay for the Assistant Manager (Law) role will be INR 48480, whereas the Deputy Manager (Law) will initially receive basic pay of Rs 64820 per month. They will also be eligible for allowances such as DA, HRA, CCA, Provident Fund, Contributory Pension Fund, i.e. NPS, Leave Fare Concession (LFC), Medical Facility, other perquisites, etc. as per rules.
