Chhattisgarh Civil Judge Application Form 2026 — Eligibility Criteria

You must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Law and should be enrolled as an Advocate under the Advocates Act, 1961 (Act No. 25 of 1961). The minimum age to apply is 21 years, while the maximum age limit varies by category.

The Chhattisgarh Civil Judge application process includes registration, login, form filling, document upload, fee payment, and final submission. Below are the steps to fill this application form:

Go to the Official Website

Visit the official website of the Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC), i.e. https://psc.cg.gov.in/

Candidate Registration

  • On the homepage, click the “CGPSC Civil Judge Apply Online” link.
  • Register successfully using your name, Email ID, mobile number, date of birth, and other details.
  • Click the “Generate OTP” button to receive an OTP to the registered mobile number and email ID.
  • Upon completing OTP verification, a link will be sent to the registered mobile number to capture a live photograph using the mobile camera through the Open Camera button.
  • Previously registered candidates must also upload a fresh live photo by logging in and clicking the Capture Photo button.

Completing the Application

  • After uploading the photograph and signature, click Save.
  • On the dashboard, click the Apply button for the advertised post to complete the application process.
  • During registration, you will receive a Login ID and Password to the registered email address. You should preserve these credentials for future use.
  • After filling out the application, you will be redirected to the payment page.
  • Payment can be made using any available payment option.
  • After successful payment, you will receive an application receipt.
  • Keep printed copies of both the application acknowledgement and payment receipt for future reference.

  • Your face should be clearly visible.
  • Both ears should be clearly visible.
  • Eyes must be open.
  • Use a plain light-coloured background.
  • The face should occupy approximately 80% of the captured screen.
  • If necessary, you may retake the photograph using the Re-Capture button.
  • Once satisfied, click Verify & Upload to upload the live photograph.

Signature Upload Instructions

  • Sign on a white sheet of paper using a black ballpoint pen.
  • Scan only the signature (not the blank background).
  • Save the scanned file in JPG format.
  • Maximum file size: 100 KB.

Chhattisgarh Judiciary Application Form Correction 2026: Can You Edit Your Form?

You can make corrections to the Chhattisgarh Civil Judge application during the notified correction period. Both free correction and paid correction can be used only once.

No modifications will be accepted after the last date of the paid correction window. After the online application and normal correction period ends, you will be allowed to make corrections only in exceptional cases and only for the following details:

  • Date of Birth
  • Gender
  • Category
  • Domicile (Local Residence)
  • Disability Status
  • Ex-Serviceman Status

Rules for Paid Corrections

  • A fee of ₹500 will be charged for correcting one or more eligible fields.
  • If you change the Chhattisgarh Local/Original Resident status from “No” to “Yes”, the fee paid earlier will not be refunded.
  • If the correction changes the domicile status from “Yes” to “No”, the candidate must pay the applicable examination fee in accordance with the rules.
  • You must also pay the applicable payment gateway charges and taxes during the paid correction process.
  • No further corrections will be accepted after the paid correction facility has been used.
  • After the paid correction is completed, the updated information will be considered as final. The Commission will verify these details against the original documents during the document verification process.
  • The entire correction process will be held online only.
