Shreya Agarwal secured an impressive All India Rank 79 in CLAT 2025 and joined her dream college, NLSIU Bangalore. What makes her journey remarkable is that she achieved this in just six months of preparation-her very first attempt.
Shreya openly shares how the months between December and May were filled with anxiety due to the ongoing case on CLAT 2025 results, yet her consistency and calm approach kept her focused.
Her CLAT preparation strategy revolved around building strong basics, developing English-reading stamina, and—most importantly—timely mock analysis. Shreya credits Law Prep’s supportive faculty, personalised guidance, curated modules, and PI sessions for shaping her success.

Interview of CLAT 2025 Topper Shreya Agarwal
Law Prep: Congratulations Shreya! How does it feel to know you’re heading to NLU Bangalore?
Shreya: Thank you, ma’am! It feels wonderful. I’m extremely happy and relieved. Knowing that I’m finally going to NLU Bengaluru-my dream NLU-is an amazing feeling. Both the earlier results and the updated results made me really happy.
Law Prep: How did your parents react? And how were the last six months emotionally?
Shreya: My parents were thrilled with the December results.
But the period from December to May was mentally exhausting. We followed every update about the ongoing case, and uncertainty was constant.
When the final list finally came out, we felt relieved after months of tension.
Law Prep: How was your experience at Law Prep Tutorial?
Shreya: It was amazing.
The faculty is excellent-supportive, knowledgeable, and approachable.
The material, one-on-one doubt discussions, PI sessions, and curated modules were extremely helpful.
I joined in April and studied till November, and throughout this period, Law Prep’s support made a huge difference.
Law Prep: You prepared for six months, and this was your first attempt. What worked for you?
Shreya: Yes ma’am, it was my first attempt. The first two months were the toughest because I had never attended coaching before.
I needed time to understand:
- What CLAT requires
- How to study
- What to study
- How to build a routine
Once the initial confusion settled, things became smoother.

Shreya’s Advice to CLAT Aspirants
1. Build Strong Basics
Teachers always emphasised this—and it’s true. Basics in English, LR, Legal, and Quant form the backbone of the exam.
2. Stay Consistent with GK
GK is extremely scoring. Stay updated daily. Even 15–20 minutes of daily current affairs helps.
3. Don’t Delay Mock Analysis
This was my biggest mistake initially. I avoided mock analysis because it felt time-consuming.
But mock analysis is EVERYTHING. Do it the same day and note your patterns.
4. Practice is Non-Negotiable
CLAT is a reading-heavy, stamina-based exam. Regular practice builds both accuracy and speed.
5. Strong English Skills Help Immensely
CLAT is fully comprehension-based. Reading, vocabulary, and comfort with long passages make a big difference.
