AILET 2026 Topper Aryan Singh: Watch Interview
Interview With AIR-1 AILET 2026 Aryan Singh
LPT: Aryan, first of all, congratulations on securing AIR 1 in AILET 2026. How are you feeling right now?
Aryan: Thank you so much. I’m honestly feeling very happy. I never imagined that I would get All India Rank 1 in AILET 2026, but here I am. Getting NLU Delhi means a lot to me because I’ve lived in Delhi all my life.
More than anything, the real happiness comes from seeing the smiles on my parents’ and teachers’ faces. That, for me, is real wealth.
LPT: We heard you completed the paper one minute before the full two-hour duration. How did you manage your time so efficiently?
Aryan: Yes, I finished the AILET 2026 question paper just about a minute before time.
- I completed GK in around 10 minutes
- Then I moved to Logical and Critical Reasoning
- English came naturally to me
At one point during the English section, I blanked out for a moment. I remembered Mahadeva, calmed myself, and continued. Everything flowed after that.
LPT: Faith seems to be a recurring theme in your journey. How important was it for you?
Aryan: Very important. I genuinely believe that Mahadeva has played a huge role in my journey.
Even in my first YouTube video, I said that whatever I’ve achieved is by Mahadeva’s grace. That belief helped me stay calm under pressure.
LPT: When the AILET result came, and there were a lot of rumours about CLAT cut-offs. How did you handle that pressure?
Aryan: There was a lot of noise, people were saying CLAT cut-offs could be 102, 104, 105. I went to a temple and spoke with my parents. We decided that CLAT was over, and now my entire focus had to be on AILET.
Once I made that decision, I developed tunnel vision. I blocked everything else out.
LPT: Your AILET score is being called one of the best ever. You even got full marks in English. Did you ever think of playing safe during the paper?
Aryan: No, I believe in attempting aggressively. My logic is simple: If I attempt five questions and even one or two turn out correct, probability works in my favour. By Mahadev’s grace, luck also supported me.
LPT: What role did your parents play in your preparation journey?
Aryan: My parents have been incredibly supportive. They never pressured me or questioned my efforts. They always told me to stay calm and do my best. That trust gave me confidence.
LPT: Sir (Aryan’s Father), what expectations did you have from Aryan during this journey?
Aryan’s Father: When I see my child growing, expectations feel like a very small word. I believe in giving children space, let them explore, make decisions, and travel their own path.
Aryan understands his responsibilities, his family, and his circumstances. That’s enough for me.
LPT: You initially opted for PCM and considered IIT. When did you decide to become a lawyer?
Aryan: By June 2024, I was clear that I wanted to become a lawyer like my father and carry on his legacy.
PCM students are intellectual and disciplined, and that background actually helped me in CLAT and AILET preparation.
LPT: You gave a large number of mocks for AILET. How useful were they?
Aryan: They were extremely helpful. LPT mocks are very close to the actual AILET and CLAT exam pattern. Some are tough, but that prepares you mentally.
I always say giving mocks without analysis is useless. Analysis is everything.
Attempt free mocks:
LPT: How did you manage mental pressure and self-doubt during preparation?
Aryan: Of course, there were moments of doubt. But I always believed that if I worked hard, something good would come of it.
Even if someone doesn’t believe in God, Newton’s Third Law applies: every action has a reaction.
LPT: Balancing PCM schoolwork with CLAT and AILET is extremely challenging. How did you manage it?
Aryan: We spoke to my teachers, and they were very supportive. In Classes 11 and 12, my focus was primarily on CLAT and AILET. “Passing” for me meant scoring above 80%, not just the bare minimum.
LPT: How did mentorship help you during preparation?
Aryan: We had weekly mentorship sessions where I was told exactly what to do for the week. My mock scores ranged from 120 to 135, and I peaked at the right time.
LPT: How important was the LPT YouTube channel and online resources?
Aryan: Very important. LPT YouTube marathons, GK videos, and LPT 365 by Pankaj Sir helped me a lot. I strongly recommend aspirants to use them consistently.
LPT: How did you relax and manage stress during preparation?
Aryan: I talk to my parents a lot. I also watch Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah regularly; it’s my stress buster. Music also helps.
LPT: How did you utilise the 7 days between CLAT and AILET?
Aryan: I checked the CLAT answer key once and then completely forgot about it. From the next day, my focus was 100% on AILET.
Whatever has happened cannot be changed. This mindset helped me move forward.
LPT: What is your most significant learning from this entire journey?
Aryan: This exam is more of a mindset test than a hard-work test. Stay calm, trust your preparation, and don’t panic at the centre.
I didn’t study anything the day before the exam; I wanted my mind to be relaxed.
LPT: Finally, what advice would you give to CLAT and AILET aspirants?
Aryan:
- Believe in yourself
- Study smartly, not blindly
- Analyse mocks properly
- Stay calm and confident
- Most importantly, trust the process
Preparation Strategy of Aryan Singh (AIR-1 AILET 2026)
1. Clear Priority: AILET Was the Main Goal
Aryan Singh was very clear that NLU Delhi was his primary target. This clarity helped him avoid confusion between CLAT and AILET preparation. Even when CLAT-related rumours created pressure, he consciously shifted his entire focus to AILET. Having one clear goal reduced stress and improved decision-making during the final phase.
2. Smart Use of Online Coaching & Mentorship
Aryan used Law Prep Tutorial’s online CLAT coaching in a structured way. Weekly mentorship sessions gave him exact weekly targets. Instead of random studying, he followed a guided plan that included mocks, analysis, GK videos, and revision. This structure helped him peak at the right time.
3. Mock Tests + Deep Analysis
He attempted a large number of AILET mocks but always focused on analysis, not just scores. Aryan believes that mocks without analysis are meaningless. He reviewed mistakes, understood why an option was wrong, and tracked patterns in errors. This habit helped him avoid repeating the same mistakes in the actual exam.
4. Calm Mindset on Exam Day
Aryan treated AILET as a mindset test. Even when he blanked briefly during English, he paused, calmed himself, and continued. He did not panic or rush. This calm approach helped him manage time well and complete the paper confidently before the full duration.
5. Faith, Family Support, and Balance
Strong family support and faith helped Aryan stay mentally stable. He talked to his parents regularly, avoided overthinking, and took breaks through music and light entertainment. This balance ensured that preparation did not turn into burnout, especially during the final days.
