2. Educational Qualification

Candidates must be Law graduates from a Bar Council of India–recognized institution with a minimum of 3 years of practice as advocates.

3. Nationality

Candidates must be Indian citizens.

4. Character Certificate

Candidates must produce a Character Certificate issued by the Head of the College or University where they last studied at the time of document verification/interview. Submission of the original certificate is mandatory, and failure to produce the required document may result in cancellation of candidature.

The online application process for the 33rd Bihar Judicial Service Competitive Examination will commence on 25 February 2026, and the last date to apply is 18 March 2026. The application process is completely online through the official BPSC website.

Step 1: Visit the Official Website

Go to the official BPSC website at www.bpsc.bihar.gov.in or the online portal https://bpsconline.bihar.gov.in.

Step 2: Find the Bihar Judiciary Recruitment Link

On the homepage, click on the relevant link for the 33rd Bihar Judicial Service Competitive Examination 2026 under the “Active Advertisements” or “New Application” section.

Step 3: Register as a New User

Complete the mandatory One Time Registration (OTR) by providing a valid email ID and mobile number. Generate login credentials to access the dashboard. Existing users must also complete OTR on the new portal.

Step 4: Fill Out the Application Form

After login, complete profile creation by entering personal details, category information, address, educational qualifications (Law degree from a Bar Council of India-recognized institution), and minimum three years’ practice experience as on 23.02.2026.

Step 5: Upload Required Documents

Upload live photograph (via webcam), Hindi and English signatures, and relevant certificates. Documents may be linked via DigiLocker or uploaded directly, as per the guidelines.

Step 6: Pay the Application Fee

Pay the prescribed examination fee of ₹100/- (plus bank charges) online. Candidates who do not use Aadhaar as an ID must pay an additional biometric fee of ₹200/-.

Step 7: Review & Submit the Application

Carefully verify all details, including name, date of birth, category, and uploaded documents, before clicking Submit & Pay Fees. No corrections will be allowed after the final submission.

Step 8: Download & Print the Application Form

After successful submission, download and print at least two copies of the application form from the My Account tab. Keep the hard copy and original documents ready for document verification and the interview.
