Candidates can now apply for the vacancies by filling up the online Bihar Judiciary application form and paying the required fees.

Steps to Fill the Application Form:

  1. Visit the BPSC portal and click “New User Registration” for One Time Registration (OTR).
  2. Fill in your personal details and verify your email and mobile via OTP.
  3. Complete OTR (valid for all future BPSC advertisements). Multiple registrations are not allowed.
  4. Link documents via Digilocker for verification, or upload manually if not using Digilocker.
  5. Enter personal information: caste, category, disabilities, veteran/NCC, government service.
  6. Enter address information: permanent and mailing addresses.
  7. Fill in other information: pending criminal cases or convictions.
  8. Enter educational qualifications from 10th to LLB, including marks, board, university, and year of passing.
  9. Enter work experience details if applicable.
  10. Capture a live photo via webcam and upload Hindi and English signatures.
  11. Verify all details carefully and lock your profile.
  12. Go to the “New Application” tab and select the active advertisement.
  13. Check eligibility, complete the application form, and pay fees online.
  14. After submission, print the application from the “My Account” tab.

Bihar Judiciary Selection Process 2026

The Bihar Judicial Services examination selection process involves 3 stages:

  1. Preliminary Exam: This stage consists of objective multiple-choice questions on General Knowledge, Elementary Science, and Law. Candidates must score at least 45% in the general category and 40% in the reserved categories to qualify.
  2. Mains (Written) Exam: Candidates who clear the prelims appear for the mains, which includes five compulsory and three optional descriptive papers. Subjects cover Law, General Knowledge, Hindi, and English. Reserved category candidates receive a 5% relaxation in the minimum qualifying marks per subject.
  3. Interview/Personality Test: Candidates who pass the mains are called for a personal interview, which carries 100 marks. The minimum qualifying score is 35%, and the final merit list is prepared based on the combined marks of the mains and interview.
