Pension of President of India After Retirement

A retired President of India gets a lifetime pension of ₹2.5 lakh per month. This is 50% of the current monthly salary of the President, which is ₹5 lakh.

Does the President of India Pay Tax on Salary?

Yes, the salary of the President of India is taxable. The official Rashtrapati Bhavan RTI/FAQ page also states that the President’s salary is taxable. However, the salary should not be confused with official facilities.
