Common SLAT Registration Mistakes to Avoid
- Entering incorrect spelling of name or personal details.
- Uploading an old or unclear photograph.
- Forgetting to pay the programme registration fee after SLAT fee.
- Using an inactive email or mobile number.
- Making multiple registrations with different emails.
- Waiting till the last day to complete payment.
- Ignoring category certificate upload (if applicable).
- Selecting only one programme unintentionally due to haste.
Choosing Between SLAT Test 1 and Test 2: Important Note
SLAT allows candidates to appear for up to two tests:
- SLAT 01 (December 20, 2025)
- SLAT 02 (December 28, 2025)
If a candidate appears for both tests, the higher score is automatically considered for the final percentile calculation, offering a major advantage. There is no normalization, so your best raw score becomes your valid score.
Because the exam fee of ₹2250 applies separately for each test, many aspirants choose to take both attempts to maximize their chances of improving their score.
Performance can vary based on test-day confidence, familiarity with the pattern, and difficulty level — making two attempts a smart choice for securing a higher score, especially for competitive programmes like SLS Pune and SLS Noida.
Program Selection Fees for SLAT
When filling the SLAT registration (Part II), candidates must select the specific programmes they wish to apply for across Symbiosis Law Schools. Each programme requires a separate payment of ₹1000 (non-refundable).
If programme fees are not paid, the application for that programme is not considered, regardless of SLAT score.
| SLS Campus | Programmes Available | Programme Fee (Per Programme) |
| SLS Pune | BA LLB, BBA LLB | ₹1000 |
| SLS Noida | BA LLB, BBA LLB | ₹1000 |
| SLS Hyderabad | BA LLB, BBA LLB | ₹1000 |
| SLS Nagpur | BA LLB, BBA LLB | ₹1000 |
Note: Multiple programmes can be selected across different SLS campuses by paying ₹1000 for each.
