Odisha Civil Judge Application 2026 — Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the Civil Judge post, you must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Law and have at least 3 years of practice as an advocate. The minimum age to apply is 23 years, whereas the maximum age limit varies as per category.

You should upload all the following scanned documents/certificates to the Commission’s e-Chayan portal at the time of application. 

  • H.S.C. or equivalent certificate
  • Bachelor’s degree of Law (LLB) Certificate
  • All mark lists in support of L.L.B examination
  • Odia test pass certificate from the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha, or any other Board or Council of Secondary Education approved by the Government of Odisha, in support of passing the Odia language test equivalent to M.E. School standard, if not passed H.S.C. or equivalent examination with Odia as one of the subjects.
  • Caste Certificate (if applicable)
  • Certificate of Provisional Enrolment/Registration with the concerned State Bar Council
  • Ex-Serviceman Certificate (if applicable)

How to Fill the Odisha Judiciary Online Form 2026?

The Odisha Judiciary application process involves registration, form filling, document upload, fee payment and final submission. Follow the steps below to fill out the Odisha Judicial Services application form 2026:

1. Go to the Official Website

Visit the official website of the Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC), i.e. https://www.opsc.gov.in/

2. Register Successfully

  • You need to register yourself by clicking on Login and Apply Online. 
  • Use your valid email ID and Mobile Number for registering and creating login credentials 

3. Log in and Complete Application Form

  • After logging in with your credentials, you can see active advertisements under the Online Application Link. “Click Here” to apply link is available next to active advertisements after login.
  • Enter your personal details, academic qualifications, contact and other required details in the form.

4. Upload Documents in Prescribed Format

In the next step, upload the scanned image of the latest passport-size photograph, full signature and left-hand Thumb Impression (LTI) in the online form. Keep four copies of the latest passport-size photograph, which was uploaded to the online form. 

5. Payment of Fees

You should pay the application fees through the prescribed payment mode to complete the process. After successful payment, save a copy of the payment receipt for future use.

6. Final Submission

Upon submitting the application form, you will be assigned a unique “Permanent Public Service Account Number (PPSAN)”. Take a printout of the form, and sign under the declaration for submission to OPSC, along with copies of the documents as and when asked.
