Stages in the Odisha Judiciary Exam Paper Pattern

The Odisha Civil Judge exam pattern consists of three parts: Preliminary Exam, Main Written Exam and Interview as per the provisions of the Odisha Superior Judicial Service & Odisha Judicial Service Rules, 2007. Check all details below:

• Preliminary Exam: It is an OMR-based, objective-type test comprising one paper. The maximum marks shall be 100.
• Main Written Exam: All prelims-qualified candidates will be shortlisted for this stage. Each paper will carry 150 marks.
• Interview: Candidates declared successful in the main written exam will be called to appear for an interview, which will carry 100 marks.

Odisha Judiciary Mains Exam Pattern 2026

The Main Written Exam is divided into two compulsory papers and three optional papers. Each of the compulsory subjects carries 150 marks with a duration of 2 ½ hours, and each of the optional subjects carries 150 marks with a duration of 3 hours.
