The UP APO Application Form 2026 is expected to be released in the second week of September 2026 along with the official notification. To complete the registration successfully, you must first complete the One-Time Registration (O.T.R.), have all required documents ready, upload the photograph and signature in the prescribed format, and pay the applicable application fee.

How to Fill UP APO Application Form 2026
The UP APO application process is divided into various steps. It includes registration, form filling, uploading documents, fee payment, and final submission.
Moreover, it is compulsory to complete the One Time Registration (O.T.R.) and obtain an O.T.R. number before applying online. After obtaining an O.T.R. number, you can submit an online application through the commission's website. Check the complete application guide below:
Visit the Official Website of UPPSC
Go to the official UPPSC website, https://uppsc.up.nic.in/.
Complete One-Time Registration (O.T.R.)
- Click the “All Notifications/Advertisements” link on the homepage.
- The online advertisements will appear with three options: User Instructions, View Advertisement, and Apply.
- Click the “Apply” link, and “Authenticate with OTR” will appear.
- Next, click “Authenticate with O.T.R” and then “Have You Completed Your O.T.R. Registration” will be displayed.
- Now, select “Yes or No”
- If you select 'No' and click on the 'Go' button.
- You will have to obtain a One-Time Registration Number from the O.T.R. Web-portal. After obtaining O.T.R, you will have to apply online according to the process.
Complete Application Form
- Click ‘Apply ', tick ' Yes ', and click the ' Go ' button,
- Then 'Enter your O.T.R. Number' will be displayed, where you will need to enter the O.T.R. Number and click the 'Proceed' button.
- Next, 'Click here to Authenticate' will be displayed.
- After clicking on it, you will have to authenticate using the O.T.R. sent to your registered mobile no./email ID or the O.T.R. password.
- After completing the authentication process, your personal details (as filled in O.T.R.) will be displayed automatically.
- Next, you will have to fill in only the essential qualifications required for the post.
Confirm Application Details
- After the completion of the first stage, the 'Applicant Dashboard' will be displayed on the screen
- Next, click on 'Submit Details' under 'Application Part-2' against the applied post.
- The permanent and correspondence address along with the application form will automatically be displayed on the screen from O.T.R. along with the preferential qualifications prescribed for the post.
- You will have to choose the Yes/No option against each preferential qualification.
Fee Confirmation Window
- After confirming details, the ‘Fee Confirmation Window’ will automatically be displayed on the screen
- Click the 'Yes' option in front of 'Proceed for fee payment
- Make the payment using net banking, card payments, and other payment modes.
- After the successful transaction, take a printout of the Payment Transaction Slip for future use.

After making the payment, you must take a printout of your completed application form and retain it for future reference.

UP APO Application Form Correction 2026: Can You Edit Your Form?
Yes. Based on the previous recruitment cycle, the exam authorities may offer a one-time opportunity to edit your UP APO application form after you submit it. During the correction window, you can log in to the candidate dashboard using valid login credentials and make the permitted changes within the deadline specified by the commission.
Once you save the corrected details, you may not be permitted to edit the form again. Hence, you must carefully review all the details before submitting the final corrected application. If the 2026 notification adheres to the same process, the application correction facility is expected to be available only once.
