MEA Proposes IMEC Fund and Secretariat to Strengthen Execution and Coordination of India-Middle East-Europe Corridor.
What is IMEC?
- A multimodal economic corridor aimed at enhancing connectivity and integration across Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.
- Launched at: G20 Leaders’ Summit (New Delhi, 2023)
- MoU Partners: India, UAE, Saudi Arabia, EU, France, Germany, Italy, and the USA

Pradhan Mantri Surakshit Matritva Abhiyan
Pradhan Mantri Surakshit Matritva Abhiyan, Launched in 2016 by MoHFW, Completes 9 Years of Maternal Health Service.
Objective
To provide free, quality, and assured antenatal care (ANC) to all pregnant women, especially those in 2nd and 3rd trimesters, with an aim to reduce maternal and neonatal mortality.

1. Services provided by OBGY specialists, radiologists, physicians (including private sector).
2. Held on 9th of every month at public health facilities.

- Medical check-up
- Diagnostic tests (including 1 ultrasound)
- IFA and calcium supplements

- High-Risk Pregnancies (HRPs): Red Sticker (High-risk) and Green sticker (No risk)
- Targets unregistered, missed ANC women, dropouts.
