AILET 2027 offers admission to B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and LL.M. programmes offered by NLU Delhi. The UG (undergraduate) exam has 150 questions for 150 marks, while the PG (postgraduate) exam has 100 law-based MCQs for 100 marks. Both papers are 120 minutes long and have 0.25-mark negative marking.
As per the AILET eligibility, UG candidates need 45% in Class 12, while PG candidates need 50% in an LL.B. degree. NLU Delhi conducts the exam for 120 UG seats and 81 PG seats.

What is AILET Exam?
AILET full form is All India Law Entrance Test. NLU Delhi conducts this exam annually. It is exclusively for admission to NLU Delhi for B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and LL.M. programmes.
The UG paper tests English, logical reasoning, and current affairs. The PG paper mainly covers core legal subjects.
For AILET 2027, the test will be conducted at the all-India level. Limited seats make admission highly competitive.

AILET 2027 Eligibility Criteria (UG & PG)
As per the notification, the AILET eligibility criteria require 45% in Class 12 for UG and 50% in an LL.B. degree for PG. There is no upper age limit for either programme.
UG Eligibility Criteria
You must have passed the Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2 system) or an equivalent examination with 45% marks for admission to a UG program. Class 12 appearing candidates can also apply. There is no upper age limit for UG admission.

AILET Admit Card 2027
The AILET 2027 admit card is scheduled to be released on November 30, 2026, through the NLU Delhi admission portal. It will contain your name, roll number, exam date, reporting time, test centre address, and important instructions. Carry the admit card along with a valid photo ID on exam day.
AILET 2027 Answer Key
NLU Delhi will release the AILET 2027 answer key online. First, the provisional answer key will be published after the exam. You can use it to check answers and estimate your score. Also, you can raise objections within the specified deadline. Each objection may require a prescribed online fee. After reviewing valid objections, NLU Delhi will release the final answer key.
AILET 2027 Results

AILET 2027 Counselling
AILET 2027 counselling is expected to begin in late December 2026, after the results are announced. The first merit list is expected by end-December 2026/early January 2027, with further rounds from January 2027 and final seat allotment in January–February 2027. Seat allotment will follow merit and applicable category rules. Subsequent counselling rounds may continue until available seats are filled.
